Tom is Locksmith with Facilities and Services. He has been with the University since 1985. As a member of the Staff Advisory Council, Tom has served as vice president and as the representative to the University’s 403b review committee. He has also been involved with the Campus Charitable Fund Drive and has served as a unit leader for many years.

Usha Dhar is an Administrative Aide in the Department of Statistics. She has been with the University since 1987. She served on the Advisory Council as The Secretariat representative from 1999-00 and then was elected as the Executive/Administrative/ Managerial representative in 2004. She is serving as vice-president of the Council since 2006. She has chaired and co-chaired the Staff Expo Committee. She was on the Illini Union Board as a staff member from 2004-06. Usha served as vice-president and president of The Secretariat during 1999-00 and 2000-2001 respectively. She also served as vice-president of the Classified Employees Association from 2001-02. Usha has B.Sc. (Hons.) degree from the Bangalore University, India and B.A. in Information systems from the Eastern Illinois University.

Judy is a secretary for the International Studies Program. She has been with the University since 1998. She has served on the Staff Advisory Committee since June, 2002. She has been involved with Secretariat for several years and presently is on the scholarship committee.

Cindi is a Staff Clerk at the School of Literatures, Cultures & Linguistics Business Office where she performs accounting functions for 14 departments. She has been employed at UIUC since October 1988. Cindi is currently serving her 2^nd term on SAC. She has served in the past as SAC Secretary, SAC President, and representative on the Faculty/Staff Assistance Program Advisory Committee.

Alice is a Building Service Foreman at the Illini Union. She has been with the University since 1986. She started as a Clerk III in Purchasing for 3 years and then was a Building Service Worker in Housing Facilities for 16 years. She served one term previously on the Staff Advisory Council and is a former member of the Chancellor’s Committee on the Status of Women.

Following my assignment with the federal government, I began working for Ball Corporation for seven years in a variety of assignments, beginning as the Corporate Manager of Employment Practices, then moving into an operations role as an Assistant Plant Manager.

Secretariat

Susan is the secretary to the Director of Alumni Relations in the College of ACES Advancement Office. She has been working in the ACES Advancement Office since her beginning of her career with the University of Illinois 10 years ago. Susan also has the honor of serving as the President-Elect for The Secretariat in which she has been an active member for six years. As the President-Elect from The Secretariat, Susan serves as a liaison with the Civil Service Staff Advisory Council.

Jeff Goldberg

Jeff received his BS from The College of Business at UIUC and Master of Public Administration (MPA) degree from University of Illinois at Springfield. He retired after 17 years as a financial representative working for one of the largest insurance and investment firms in the US. Originally from Detroit, Jeff came here as a scholar-athlete (Football) and has made Champaign-Urbana his home for over 30 years. He has worked at UIUC since November, 2002 and was elected to a 4 year term as Civil Service Representative October, 2006. Committees he serves include Civil Service Employee/Dependent Scholarship Fund, Faculty/Staff Assistance Program Advisory Committee and chaired the committee that wrote a New Member Informational Manual. Jeff considers it an honor and privilege to serve his campus constituents.
