There are no sessions scheduled at this time, please check back later for future training opportunities
The Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) establishes standards for such items as minimum wage, overtime pay and leave reporting for full-time and part-time workers. Due to recent regulatory changes, all exempt Civil Service, Academic Professional and Grad Assistant appointments were reviewed for compliance with the FLSA. Based on this review, revisions to University policies and procedures for determining exempt status, time reporting and leave reporting were implemented. Effective August 16, 2006 for exempt Academic Professional and Graduate Assistant employees and August 27, 2006 for Civil Service employees leave is to be reported in half day or full incisions.
