Minimum
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in child development, education or related
fields, provided that it included 18 semester hours of credit
directly related to child care or child development, 6 of them for
the period from birth to age six
AND possession of
the credential required by DCFS for employment as a child care
worker.
OR
Possession of the
credentials required for Child Development Associate
AND two years of
experience compared to that gained at the lower level of this
series and 18 additional semester hours of college coursework
directly related to child development and/or child care.

Criminal background check required.
Physical examination as required by Illinois Child Care Act for
employees in child care facilities.
