We are currently accepting exam requests for the classifications listed below.

OPEN AND CONTINUOUS TESTING

Please note that the following list of open and continuous testing opportunities does not mean that there are currently vacancies.  For the following titles it is anticipated that applicants will have no more than one (1) active exam request at a time. Once you have been notified of an exam date or of a denial of the request for cause (i.e. - lack of minimum qualifications), an additional request may be submitted.

NOTE:  The State Universities Civil Service System Office has implemented a revision to the 
            classification plan for the Secretarial series.  The revised classification specification has
            been changed to "Office Support" series, effective April 15, 2008.  Listed below are the
            new titles in the series, with the old titles in parenthesis.

CURRENT VACANCIES

Staff Human Resources is accepting applications and exam requests for the following vacancies. Click on a specific title to view additional information and the preferred skills and/or experience. Test dates are sent by e-mail and followed by a postcard sent via US mail.  Please check your e-mail.  Test dates for the following postings CANNOT be rescheduled.

A request to create a civil service application will be processed within three (3) business days (Monday - Friday). Your logon ID will be emailed to you. When you receive your logon information, you can complete your online employment application.

TEMPORARY UPGRADES

Listed below are temporary upgrades.  In order to request a temporary upgrade you must be a University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign employee who is within the promotional line for that classification and interested in a temporary upgrade. Click on a specific title to view additional information and the preferred skills and/or experience. Test dates are sent by e-mail and followed by a postcard sent via US mail.  Please check your e-mail.  Test dates for the following postings CANNOT be rescheduled.

CRAFTS AND TRADES QUARTERLY POSTINGS
